Tetsuya is an Investment Manager at Remiges Ventures as a secondee from Taiho Pharmaceutical. Prior to joining Remiges, he has over 15 years of experience working through drug discovery, research planning, and business planning in Taiho. He led the biology of several oncology programs in drug discovery, then worked in the research planning department, where he was engaged in portfolio management of discovery stage programs and the promotion of research collaboration with industry and academia to build a drug discovery platform, and in the business planning department, where he was responsible for corporate portfolio strategy and the evaluation of external assets. He holds his Ph.D. in epigenetic mechanism from the University of Tokyo.
